Metauniverse is the next generation Internet with virtual reality technology (VR) as the medium, and it will bring more changes to human society than the changes brought by mobile Internet in the past decade. Report to the 20th CPC National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward "to build a modern industrial system, insist on focusing on the real economy, promote new industrialization, and accelerate the construction of a manufacturing power, a quality power, a space power, a transportation power, a network power and a digital China". As a manufacturing power and country in the world, China should seize the next peak and lay out or apply the metauniverse, which is the proper meaning of implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress.
Application of Meta-Universe in Financial Field
Metaverse is linked and created by means of science and technology. It is a virtual world that maps and interacts with the real world and has a digital living space with a new social system. Metauniverse is essentially a virtual and digital process of the real world, which usually has the key characteristics of identity, socialization, immersive experience, low-delay communication, diversification, anywhere, economic system and civilization. Metauniverse provides immersive experience based on augmented reality technology, generates mirror image of real world based on digital twin technology, builds economic system based on blockchain technology, and closely integrates virtual world and real world on each system.
The application of metauniverse in the financial field includes two levels: first, the application of metauniverse in infrastructure in the financial field, mainly referring to related hardware, such as VR glasses, VR helmets, VR all-in-one machines, etc., as well as reserve equipment that can be used or mainly used in a wider range of financial fields. The second is the metacosmic technology and metacosmic content used in the financial field. The former is a physical substance, which is "visible and tangible", while the latter may not be easy to understand, and it is also the main battlefield for the application of the Metauniverse in the financial field at present.
According to the BASIC metauniverse technology architecture system, metauniverse technology mainly consists of five parts: 1B, 2A, 3S, 4I and 5C. 1B mainly refers to blockchain, including public chain, heterogeneous pass (NFT), China digital currency (DCEP) and distributed finance. 2A refers to game (e-sports) technology and artificial intelligence. 3S stands for the aggregation of spatial computing, security, digital twins and digital natives. 4I refers to interactive technology, brain-computer interface (BCI), Internet of Things, VR and other related technologies. Infrastructure 5C represents cloud computing, chips, communication networks, edge computing and energy reconstruction. Relying on the technical system of the meta-universe, coupled with the different scene combinations of time, space and objects, a relatively complete technological ecology of the meta-universe has been formed.
